Floss Boss

I own a company based around dental floss, so it may be easy to detect my bias!  I love flossing  I often tell anyone who will listen that it is the least expensive and easiest way to keep your smile healthy for a lifetime!  I wasn’t always a believer though…growing up I didn’t floss!  My sister did and she used to sit in front of the mirror in our small shared bathroom flicking particles of food and plaque on the mirror as she labored away for what seemed like forever.  (Not that I was a dramatic teenager).  It wasn’t until I went to dental school and saw firsthand the difference in the smiles of those who flossed and those who didn’t.  I’ve been and avid proponent of the habit ever since (but still think my technique is better than my sister’s)!

Flossing is an important part of any oral hygiene routine, and it can have a number of benefits for your overall health. Here are just a few of the reasons why you should make flossing a regular part of your daily routine:

1. Flossing helps to remove plaque and bacteria from between your teeth and along the gum line. This helps to reduce the risk of gum disease, tooth decay, and bad breath.

2. Flossing can help to reduce inflammation in the gums, which can help to reduce the risk of gum disease.

3. Flossing can help to improve the appearance of your teeth by removing food particles and plaque that can cause discoloration.

4. Flossing can help to reduce the risk of cavities by removing food particles and plaque that can cause decay.

5. Flossing can help to improve your overall oral health by removing plaque and bacteria that can cause gum disease and tooth decay.

Flossing is an important part of any oral hygiene routine, and it can have a number of benefits for your overall health. Make sure to floss at least once a day to keep your teeth and gums healthy and to reduce the risk of gum disease, tooth decay, and bad breath.

Remember, its never too late to begin a new habit!  Find a floss you like, start small, maybe a few times a week.  You will feel better and the habit will grow!  Best of luck, and remember, healthy smiles are beautiful smiles!
